My Little Ladies Man

We have teased for years that Ian was a cutie.  He has seemed to attract attention wherever we go.  When he was just a few weeks old, Heidi and I were in Wal-Mart and a woman in a wheelchair took him right out of Heidi's hands.  We had no idea who she was, I just knew that I could probably out run the wheelchair.

When he was 6 months old we flew to Houston to visit with Kenny's family.  As I was carrying him through the airport on my shoulder, I could hear comments of "I think he's flirting with me."

He has always loved people and can make friends anywhere.  He has wanted to get married since he was in pre-school (before that he wanted to marry me) and has never, ever hated girls.

A few months ago I arrived at the school early to pick him up and they were still having their afternoon recess.  I heard the teacher blow the whistle to signal that recess was over.  I kept an eye out for Ian to line up with his class, and I couldn't see him.  A few minutes later, he comes strolling across the playground with a girl on each arm.

He has told me he makes deals with his boy friends that he can play with the girls at one recess a day, so they won't be mad at him.

Kenny and I have wondered when the girls would start calling the house.  That hasn't happened yet, but he did get his first love note yesterday.

I might have to lock him in a room!  ;)  He did tell me when he gets married, he and his wife are going to live in Belle Fourche (a town about 10 miles from here).  At least he has moved on from wanting to get married and live with us.

He is a funny kid, and I am SOOO glad he is mine!

That is so great that he makes a deal with his friends to get to play with the girls one recess. How cute!
