We left Casper early enough I thought we would make it home before dark. I had seen so many deer on our way there, I was worried about the drive home, especially if it was dark. We made it all but 10 miles before it was dark, and just my luck 8 miles from our exit I hit a deer. A broken headlight and a dented fender later, we made it home. Yea for insurance!

Fun in Casper
Well, at least as much fun as you can have in Casper in 3 hours. Since everything is WAY too expensive to do, we met Mom, Dad and Heidi half-way in Casper to visit. After an interesting start for Mom, Dad and Heidi (Interstate 80 was closed for 5 hours with a natural gas pipe leak and they turned around and took the long way around). We met at the park to let the kids play. Of course I mean all seven of us (nine with the dogs).

So sorry you hit a deer, that stinks.... you're right though, insurance is a good thing :)
It is fun to see some pics of you and your mom... your mom looks the same... not a bit older.
Ps. I was excited to see you commented on our blog! HOORAY, I love comments :)
I am sorry you hit a deer! I get SO TENSE driving in the dark for that very reason. I am glad you are all okay, though.
I love the pictures!
Thank you. I am sorry I hit it too. But I am SOOOO grateful that my family is fine. Our airbags didn't even go off (which I didn't think of until someone stopped to ask if they did).
